Q: What is Custom Zine?
A: Custom Zine is a handmade zine made exactly for you. Here's how it works: send us a blank notebook, sketchbook, paper bag or any flat, writeable surface, and we send it back to you, filled with stories, stickers, odds and ends, photographs, and whatever assorted marginalia we can think of.
Q: Where do I send it to?
A: Send it to our mailing address. It's on our "About Us" page, but here it is again:

Q: How much does it cost?
A: Glad you asked that! We're flexible about price, but ask that you include something to ameliorate the cost of shipping, not to mention art supplies and the time and labor spent on it. Here are our suggested prices:
- Paper Bag or Postcard: $1, 3 stamps, and/or an SASE/P (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope/Postcard).
- Notepad, 20-50 Pages: $4.
- Pocket Note/Sketchbook, 70-100 pages: $6.
- Sketchbook, 100-200 pages: $10.
- Anything over 200 pages: 10¢/page ($20 for 200 pages, $50 for 500, etc.)
Send well-concealed cash (no coins) or money orders. You can also send PayPal to info at zotapine dot com.
Q: I don't have a lot of money right now, but I still would like a Custom Zine. Are there supplementary ways I can pay you?
Yes. We like U.S. postage, zine trades, old magazines, art supplies and 35mm film.
Q: I can't send you packages for whatever reason. Can I pay you to buy something and send it to me?
A: Yes. We buy our art supplies from Dick Blick; check there for price ideas. You can also order items directly from a website and have them shipped to our address (though please indicate where you want it shipped).
Q: I want my Custom Zine to have a specific theme or story. Can you do this?
A: To the best of our ability. Include the relevant pieces you want included (photographs, drawings etc.) and a brief comment as to what you'd like. If your request is very detailed, please provide more compensation &mdash this is a labor of love, but not of debt.
Q: When can I expect my Custom Zine back?
A: It depends on the involvement of the project. With shorter projects (50 pages or less), expect it in two weeks. Longer projects take from one to three months. If you'd like us to give you updates, include your e-mail and/or phone number as well as your shipping address so we can alert you of the zine's progress, any delays we're experiencing, etc.
Q: Can I make custom zines too?
