Zoë Woodbury High

Zoë Woodbury High lives in Portland, Maine and is in 9th grade. Her interests include music, radio, art, travel, and language. She has been playing the ukulele for a year and a half, because it’s easy, fun and portable.

She wrote her first novel, It’s a World, It’s a World, It’s a World 2, at age 7. She wrote two more novels, Charles B. Nutmeg-Spice, Nicknamed Chip, and Pine of the Canadian Wolves, at ages 9 and 10, and has gone downhill from there. Now she writes short stories about substitute teachers and pulling boats from her "weird hippie high school."

Zoë is now studying French, learning to play the piano and guitar, and continuing to teach herself the ukulele. She plans to someday move to New York City and become an artist and college professor, and also hopes to open a vegan bakery.

Zoë's music video of "There Is A Light That Never Goes Out" attracted the attention of websites such as ukelele.fr, Morrisey-solo.com and The Laughing Squid. We look forward to seeing what the future holds for Zoë, as it's sure to be great.

Hello Saferide

Hello Saferide (inspired by an intelligent bus driver in a drug-addicted small town) is songwriter Annika Norlin. She'd been writing songs since the age of seven, never aspiring for anyone else to hear them, when she recorded a song about a young girl internet-stalking her crush. "Highschool Stalker" was an instant Internet hit, which led to her record deal and first single, "My Best Friend," which had "even the toughest of tough men crying they, too, wanted to be lesbians."

Her debut album, "Introducing...Hello Saferide" released in September 2005 to much critical acclaim. One song, "Long Lost Penpal," was featured in an episode of HBO's "Big Love." Her follow up album, "Would You Play This EP Ten Times A Day?" catapulted to #4 in the Swedish charts, and is expected to hit gold.
